Berkshire Prestige - Buyers Beware

This website has been created to warn potential customers of Berkshire Prestige about the risk of buying a a vehicle from them.

This garage consistently sells under par, unroadworthy, MOT failure cars that are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, and try to wriggle out of this by saying that a "disclaimer" was signed by the customer.

We purchased a Mercedes GLC from them in October 2024, with problems from the get go. NOT minor problems, but huge problems, which should have been rectified by the garage under consumer rights, however they declined to have anything to do with the car stating "sold as seen" - "no warranty"

Engine Mounts screws missing and broken meaning the engine is not sitting safely in the car AN INSTANT MOT FAILURE

Bushes so badly corroded and worn a knocking sound can be heard when driving AN INSTANT MOT FAILURE

Three tyres WELL BELOW the legal limit of 3mm.  One showing threads and one at 1.6mm!!! AN INSTANT MOT FAILURE

Huge amount of undeclared PREVIOUS ACCIDENT DAMAGE, including badly fitting bonnet bumper and defective electric boot.

ENGINE WARNING STOP SIGN CONSTANTLY ON

The car has a persistent fault which stops it accelerating and goes into limp mode, this was reported to them within a couple of weeks of having the car.  So many fault codes, but they are NOT INTERESTED.  The car is totally undriveable.

I have kids and a family and they sold me this DEATH TRAP.  They completely washed their hands with me as a customer.

Armed with a court approved engineers report, receipts for tyres, brakes, diagnostics and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 behind me, I will see THEM IN COURT!  Check back for further updates, and feel free to send us your REVIEWS if you would like them added to the site,  I have already contacted all of these below - for additional information.  This is a public services, no one should be scammed like this.  Read the reviews for yourself.
